For over 15 years, I’ve been helping people across Warwickshire and the surrounding areas create unforgettable nights through music, atmosphere and professional entertainment.
From weddings and birthdays to corporate events, retro nights and packed pub parties, Bishop Sounds Disco has performed at over 500 events — and no two nights are ever the same.
That’s exactly how I believe it should be.
What makes Bishop Sounds different is the personal approach I bring to every event. When you book with me, you deal directly with me from start to finish. No agencies. No random DJs turning up on the night. No confusion about who’s handling your event.
I believe the best events happen when the DJ understands not just the music, but the people in the room.
That’s why I take the time to get to know my clients, their guests, their tastes and the kind of atmosphere they want to create. Whether you want a classy wedding reception, a full-on retro throwback party, a relaxed corporate event or a packed dancefloor all night long, I adapt the music, energy and style to suit your event properly.
One thing I pride myself on is reading a crowd.
Knowing when to build the energy, when to change direction and when to let the music speak for itself is something that only comes with experience. I also know when to use the microphone — and just as importantly, when not to. Some events need high energy interaction, others work best with a more relaxed and professional approach. My job is to create the right atmosphere for your night, not make myself the centre of attention.
Retro nights are a particular speciality of mine, especially 80s and 90s events. I’ve built an ever-expanding music collection covering everything from timeless classics and singalong anthems to dancefloor fillers across multiple decades and genres.
Alongside the music, I use premium sound and lighting equipment to help create a professional setup that looks as good as it sounds. Every event matters to me, whether it’s an intimate private party or a large celebration.
I’m also fully insured, fully PAT tested and DBS checked, giving venues and clients complete peace of mind.
After every event, I ask clients for honest feedback because I believe there’s always room to improve, evolve and make the next event even better.
At the end of the day, anybody can play songs.
