BishopSounds Disco

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by BishopSounds Disco. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once:

• A deposit has been received (where applicable)

• The booking has been accepted by BishopSounds Disco

• Confirmation has been issued

Until confirmation has been provided, dates remain available to other enquiries.

2. Payments

The client agrees to pay the agreed booking fee as outlined in the booking confirmation.

• Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled by BishopSounds Disco

• Final balances must be paid by the agreed due date

• Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking

BishopSounds Disco reserves the right to refuse performance where payment arrangements have not been met.

3. Cancellations

Client Cancellation

If the client cancels the booking:

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Additional cancellation charges may apply depending on notice period and preparation already undertaken

BishopSounds Disco Cancellation

In the unlikely event BishopSounds Disco must cancel due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every effort will be made to provide a suitable replacement entertainer where possible.

If no replacement can be arranged, any payments made will be refunded in full.

4. Venue Requirements

The client is responsible for ensuring:

• Safe and suitable access to the venue

• Adequate power supply

• Sufficient setup space

• Appropriate parking/loading access where possible

BishopSounds Disco reserves the right to refuse setup or performance if conditions are deemed unsafe.

5. Equipment & Safety

All equipment supplied remains the property of BishopSounds Disco.

The client accepts responsibility for:

• Damage caused by guests

• Unsafe behaviour near equipment

• Theft or malicious damage caused during the event

Children must be supervised at all times around equipment and lighting.

6. Performance Times

Performance times will be agreed in advance.

Additional performance time requested during the event may be possible but is subject to:

• Venue approval

• Time restrictions

• Additional charges

7. Music Requests

Clients are welcome to provide playlists, preferred genres and special requests.

While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, BishopSounds Disco reserves the right to refuse:

• Offensive material

• Unsafe requests

• Requests unsuitable for the event atmosphere

8. Client Conduct

BishopSounds Disco reserves the right to end performance immediately if:

• Threatening, abusive or unsafe behaviour occurs

• Equipment or staff are placed at risk

• Venue conditions become unsafe

In such cases, no refund will be provided.

9. Delays & Circumstances Beyond Control

BishopSounds Disco cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by:

• Extreme weather

• Venue issues

• Power failures

• Traffic incidents

• Government restrictions

• Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

10. Photography & Promotion

Photographs or videos taken during events may occasionally be used for promotional purposes, including website and social media content.

Clients wishing to opt out should notify BishopSounds Disco in writing before the event.

11. Liability

BishopSounds Disco maintains appropriate public liability insurance where required.

Liability is limited to the total value of the booking fee paid.

BishopSounds Disco is not responsible for:

• Venue failures

• Guest behaviour

• Indirect or consequential losses

12. Data Protection

Personal information provided during bookings or enquiries will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking with BishopSounds Disco, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.
